Privacy Policy

For the purposes of the PDPA, Oordy Lanka is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy.

The Website is informational. It has no accounts, sign-in or forms. We collect only:

• Technical data: when you visit, the servers that host the Website automatically record standard log data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time.
• Your language choice: when you pick English, Sinhala or Tamil, your browser stores that choice (local storage) so the Website remembers it. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Messages you send us: if you email or call us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
• Job applications: if you apply for a role or express interest, we receive your CV and whatever details you choose to share, such as your contact details, work history and qualifications.

The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through it.

• To run, secure and improve the Website — based on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, safe website.
• To reply to your messages and requests — based on your consent, or on steps you ask us to take.
• To consider you for roles at Oordy Lanka — based on steps you ask us to take before a possible employment contract, and our legitimate interests in recruiting.
• To meet our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• service providers that help us run the Website, such as hosting and email providers, who may use it only on our instructions;
• Leemo and its affiliates, where needed to handle your request — for example, if you contact us about the Leemo app;
• authorities, courts and regulators, including the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka, where the law requires it; and
• a buyer or successor if our business, or part of it, is sold or reorganised.

Some of our service providers may store data on servers outside Sri Lanka. When that happens, we make sure the transfer complies with the PDPA and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

• Website logs: usually no longer than 12 months.
• Messages and requests: as long as needed to deal with them, and up to 24 months afterwards.
• Job applications: up to 12 months after the recruitment decision, so we can consider you for other roles — unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

We may keep data for longer where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption and access controls, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will notify you and the authorities where the PDPA requires it.

Subject to the conditions in the PDPA, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
• have your data erased in certain circumstances;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
• ask for a review of any decision made solely by automated means that significantly affects you; and
• complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.

To use any of these rights, email hello@leemo.lk. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the PDPA requires. We'd appreciate the chance to address any concern before you contact the Authority.

The Website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 through the Website. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Website links to third-party services such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed, and we will highlight significant changes on the Website.
